Every morning, seven days a week, men drive their personal vehicles to the corner at "rotunda para riberinha" to begin a day's work. They rent their personal trucks to anyone who is in need of a transport to carry people, equipment, or supplies to any location on the island. Each driver constitutes a private rental agency. The drivers arrive at 7:00 a.m. every morning and work until at least 7:00 p.m. every night.
